Our Far East Division was founded in 1994 when a friend and business acquaintance of our Chairman, Gerry Olohan, asked if he could source propolis from China. Product was found, a deal was struck and here we are over 16 years later!
Today we have a small sourcing/administration office located in Shijiazhuang, on the outskirts of Beijing in the industrial heartland of China.
Our office is manned with commercially aware local staff, conversant in both Chinese Mandarin and English, with extensive knowledge of import/export procedures and experience of negotiating with key suppliers, manufacturers and Government departments at all levels.
We regularly visit China and welcome customers to accompany us and witness first hand the high and exacting standards our suppliers work to.
